Since 1938, Superman is a superhero comic published by DC Comics. Superman, an alien named Kal-El from the destroyed planet Krypton, was sent to the planet earth and raised as Clark Kent by his human foster parents, Martha and Jonathan Kent. The adult Superman became the protector of Earth, working at the Daily Planet, newspaper, as Clark Kent alongside his partner/love interest/wife Lois Lane.
