Maytag 3.5 cu ft Commercial Grade Residential washing machine MVWP575GW, yes folks, because plague, political unrest, and pestilence isn't enough this year, we were forced to buy a new washer! Bousquet's made the purchase a quick and easy one. Perusing Bousquet's inventory on their website is easy, and with only a few phone calls, we were able to choose the washing machine desired, make delivery and payment arrangements. The price was fair, considering delivery, set-up and removal of the old appliance are included in the price. Both delivery technicians followed instructions about where to enter the house, were masked the entire installation, courteous and efficient. I am happy to support local, independent business vs. the big box stores. Killingly is fortunate to have a full service appliance dealer in our area that can meet Lowe's or online pricing while exceeding their service. I would give them 5 stars, but for two issues. In an attempt to have the previous washer repaired, ( it was only 6 years old, ) we called for their repair service. We were warned that given these pandemic times, their repair staff was stretched thin; a reasonable situation. As long time Bousquet's customers, we've had our fair share of repair technician visits. This latest one was disappointing. We are practicing COVID-19 protocols strictly in our household, so we called
ahead to review specific instructions. Although the representative I spoke with on the phone was extremely helpful and assuring, the repair technician disregarded all of my requests, and only wore his mask fully when speaking to me face to face. He was dismissive and not very helpful in answering my questions. Both when the repair visit was scheduled and delivery was scheduled, we had requested an advance call when the technicians were 15 from arrival to be properly prepared with our masks and work from home tasks, but the call was not placed either visit. While annoying, I still would highly recommend Steve Bousquet's Appliance & TV for any appliance purchases needed in these times.
